The Duffus Crest This page is presented in memory of David Duffus, author of the Duffus website. David passed away in January 2005. The original Sutherland crest has been
passed down to us from a stone
at Duffus. The crest represents the intermarriage of the Sutherland,
Cheyne & Chisholm families.
The crest above appears in the manuscript
entitled "Peer Arms"
held in the Lyon Office, New Register House, Edinburgh.
The crest as sold by commercial retailers.
